Trekking around Tirana

I love having a camera on my phone, enabling me to take pictures discreetly. Here are some pics from our many treks around the city while apartment-searching. The quality of the pics is not great, but it gives you a feel of the city.
There are many people who set up "shop" on the sidewalks to sell items, anything from tissues to sunflower seeds to undergarments! It's been said that Tirana is a city of shopkeepers. It is very common to see bathroom scales like this one, on which you can weigh yourself for 10 Leke (about 10 cents):

More colorful buildings in the city:

If you want you can eat at Yahoo! Fast Food :)

...or at our favorite pizza place, Pizza Time.

...or the Muhammad Ali Bar and Kafe, but we haven't been there so we can't tell you what it's like. It's one of hundreds of bar/kafes in Tirana.

Yet more colorful buildings:

This building is called the "Taiwan" building, although we don't know why. You can go to the bar/cafe :) or the restaurant. You can even go bowling here. It's a very popular place to hang out.
