Preaching
Last Sunday, Justin had the opportunity to preach to both the Young Professionals and the Youth at our church. This was because Roger, the leader of the YP was preaching in "big church" (aka "the main service"). It was a wonderful opportunity for him, as soon he will take full responsibility for preaching in the youth group. As you can see, we have a good size group when they are both combined - about 25 people. Please pray for Justin as he continues to grow in his preaching of the Word.

Pallati
(Pallati is Albanian for “apartment building”.) Here is the view from our kitchen balcony. I don’t think we’ve posted a picture of this view yet, but can’t remember. We have a great view of the Sky Tower (the building with the round top in the background). The top, round floor of the Sky Tower is a revolving restaurant and bar. In one hour, you can see a panorama view of Tirana and the gorgeous mountains that surround her.

Promenade
You’ll notice that our balcony overlooks an elementary school yard. Every afternoon we can hear kids playing and running around when they’re let out of school. It’s very noisy, but I’d rather hear that noise than the loud city traffic and loud music coming from the bars. So it’s a good noise ☺ These children were lined up like this for about an hour. I have no idea what the teacher was talking to them about, but I thought they were very well-behaved and patient (minus a shove or a kick here and there) to be lined up like that and listening to the teacher for an hour.

Produce
Here is a visual example of the wonderful produce I love buying here. It’s bright, flavorful, and without preservatives or chemicals. And it’s not even summer yet! Soon, produce will be even cheaper and in even more abundance. There will be thousands of piles of wonderful produce for sale along the city streets.
P.S. How's my alliteration, Mom?
