Update on Camp Eureka!

Well, we've just finished another exhausting but very wonderful 2 weeks of camp! The summer teams have come and gone and I think we are still recovering physically from the fast pace of camp. Eureka Camp was amazing - thank you to all who were praying for us and for the campers. The 2 weeks were full of fun activities, chapel messages, bible studies, great conversations, and lots of beginning friendships. There were several kids who professed faith in Christ for the first time during these two weeks, and so we are praising the Lord for accomplishing his will in their lives and for granting them New Life!! Just for a recap, the first of camp was in Vlora, a costal city south of here on the Adriatic. It was held in an old communist hotel, which made for not-the-most-pleasant accomodations, but a great atmostphere for focusing on God and His word. Our hotel overlooked the Adriatic (see pic below) so we had a gorgeous view and were able to teach the kids all about God's handiwork all around us. The second week of camp was back here in Tirana, for follow-up. We did at least one activity a day with anyone who wanted to participate (activities included bowing, going to the public pool, hiking in the mountains, bible studies, coffee, etc.). Here are a few pix to give you a feel for how great a time we had!
