This post is aptly titled! I had another ultrasound this morning with the specialists in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the hospital. The long and short of it is that they don't see anything wrong with the baby! They were quick to say that obviously they can't know for sure, as ultrasounds are not diagnostic in these situations. But if they didn't know that there was something to be concerned about several months ago with the growth on the back of the baby's neck (which may or may not be/have been a cystic hygroma), they wouldn't know that anything was wrong at all. Everything with her growth and development is well within normal range, and I can tell you she is very strong and getting stronger every day! So today my heart is singing and glad with that report! I hope and expect to be able to deliver this baby without surgery or any other major intervention. Only 6 more weeks until my due date!! Justin and I can honestly say that God has been so good and merciful - and not just because we got the outcome we wanted with the health of our baby girl. Every day, every moment the Lord has been there sustaining us, guiding us, giving us wisdom and encouragement, comforting us and giving us hope that this is all part of a grand design for our good and his glory! That is the theme of our lives, and it is the theme of our baby girl's life already!
Soooo, when you pray for our baby, now you can pray for her by NAME, as we have decided to call her (drum roll...):
Evangeline Sarah
"Evangeline" means "bearer of good news" and "Sarah" (my mother's name) means "princess". Please continue to pray for Evangeline and pray that she would grow into her name and become a bearer of The Good News, a little princess in God's Kingdom.

Glory be to God! Praising Him with you! We've been praying and will continue to pray for your Princess Evangeline!much love, Tanya for The Todd Provost clan :)
Oh Gretchen, my heart just sang when I read your miraculous news! What a great God we serve! I can remember so clearly sitting on the floor in Samuel's room the day you heard the "bad" news in Albania and praying that God would heal her completely for His glory. He heard and answered! What an amazing testimony you have to share with all people about what He has done. And Evangeline, she will certainly have a story to tell that will give her lots of opportunity to live up to her name - bringing the good news what God's mercy. I am crying over here with thanksgiving. I love you and miss you! I can't wait to see you and Evangeline is few months. We will continue to pray! Love, Chelle
That's great to hear!
God is great. We had a very similar issue with my young brother. The doctors told us he was going to have down cindrome and pressured us to abort, but thank God he turned out OK and smart.
Have good and easy time while waiting for Evangeline
