Short Update from Tirana, Albania

We have arrived in Tirana Albania safe and sound. My dad and my sister made it as well. We apologize for not writing sooner, but things have been busy, meeting with people and getting prepared for camp. Today is our first day of camp, we have 50 kids, and expect more by the middle of the week (registration is over on Wednesday). The Lord has been very gracious to us, Gretchen and I are tired, but very excited about what God is doing here in Albania. We can’t help but think what it will be like once we move here. The past couple of days, we have looked around at places to live once we move here, and we have also introduced my dad, and sister to some of our great friends here in Albania.

The theme for camp this year is DELIGHTING IN THE GLORY OF GOD! We want God to reveal his glory and shine his light down in the hearts of the youth. Many of the youth from the church are coming off a great camp that they had a few weeks ago (with another team) in preparation for this camp. We want God to reign down his glory on this place, for his namesake. Gretchen and I are so thankful for all of you who have prayed for us, they are much needed, and always felt. As the week progresses, we will write more.
