This afternoon was exciting - there were 12 girls in our youth girls bible study!! That's including the 3 female staff members we mentioned in the previous post. If you think of it, please pray for this group of girls. We are studying the topic of "Making Disciples", going through various texts in Scripture and studying the examples of Jesus and the early Church, and some not-so-good examples, like Jonah. So far, we have met 3 times and each time the study has been very good. The girls are talkative, like to discuss, and are eager to dig into Scripture. Please pray that we would each become a better disciple of Christ and that we would be bold in witnessing to others about Jesus. We are trying to make it practical, not just hypothetical.
Our meeting today was also special because it was Fjori's birthday, and she and another special girl, Xhili, were both recently accepted into several Universities here in Tirana - a much more difficult task than it is for most universities in the States. Here are some pix from our meeting:

Wow the girls look great! I seems like it was just last summer or something that I got to meet them. I doubt that many of them would remember me, but if so, tell them I say hi and to press on!
