Addie and the interns are here!

My sister, Addie, arrived here in Tirana last week and will be staying with us for two months this summer. It has been very good to have her with us - she's been a huge help with Samuel :) During her stay, she'll be helping out with the youth group, volunteering at an orphanage several times a week, and teaching a conversational English class every night for 3 weeks.

Also, our interns, John (from Grace Church of DuPage) and Jennie (from Harvest Bible Church), arrived this week. They are getting settled in their Albanian host homes. They are here to get involved in youth ministry and help us expand our contacts among the youth in the city. Currently, we are starting to plan a big project for the summer - Evangelism Training, which will likely involve the whole of our church here, not just the youth group. It will consist of 6 weeks of training seminars.

President and Mrs. Bush are coming to Tirana on June 10!!

We saw our little Oakley at our team leader's home. They watched him while we were in the States. We get him back on Sunday...because Addie wants a pet!

And...I have no idea what this structure is, but I saw it behind that wall, and had to take a picture...so weird...
